The Create Initiative is a summer program that introduces youth to web design, coding, digital photography, videography, and music. Students are introduced to storyboarding techniques and learn how to develop websites using HTML and WordPress. They are also introduced to coding with scratch.com and Python. Students learn photography and video editing as well as music production. This workshop series is filled with interactive activities and peer engagement.
